COVID-19 and Camp

Dear Marymount Family,

Another summer approaches and we are preparing the camp property and programming for wonderful camp sessions.  I am excited to announce that we have a new activity we will be introducing with the help of one of our supporters (Tim Quigley) and the Nashville Predators Foundation.  Because of their help, we now have honeybees!  Four hives and one learning hive have been installed.  Our new “camper bees” are getting used to their “cabins”, and doing great.  They are working hard ensuring that their hives are safe.

Just like the bees, we want to ensure that our camp is safe this summer too.  Although there is light at the end of the tunnel, we still need to take the needed precautions that come when dealing with the continued (although improving) pandemic.  We again have certain policies and procedures in place to ensure a safe summer for campers and staff.  However, to be successful this summer and to ensure that Marymount stays open, we continue to need your help.  PLEASE, read the parent and COVID handbook and adhere to the policies we have in place.  We have one more summer and then my hope is that we are back to normal summer 2022.  With your help, we will again this year give kids a summer they won’t forget.

Sincerely,

Tommy Hagey

Executive Director
