About Camp Marymount Events

Camp hosts three big events every year. Marymount in May is a dinner gala(Marymount style) fundraiser. The proceeds from Marymount in May provide funding for programming operations. The MOSS is a golf tournament that provides funding for the Peggy Whiteside Memorial Scholarship Fund. Ms. Whiteside influenced many through her 25 years as head counselor. The Fund provides scholarships when campers might not otherwise get to experience camp due to financial difficulties. All of these FUN-draisers help to keep Camp Marymount a thriving part of our community.

About “The Moss”

The MOSS (Marymount Open Scholarship Scramble) golf tournament provides scholarships for children whose families could not otherwise afford camp tuition and your involvement makes it possible for these children to enjoy a summer at camp.  The Scholarship Fund relies entirely on the MOSS golf tournament proceeds and individual contributions. The MOSS date is October 21, 2022.

Work/ Volunteer Weekend      

Work weekend is always the last weekend before Camp starts. Volunteers help with projects around Camp. Typically this in mid to late May before our summer camp sessions begin. Stay tuned for 2022/23 dates!   Contact programdirector@campmarymount.com for more information.

About “Marymount in March”

Our biggest fundraising event of the year. We celebrate the Marymount Spirit, sharing thoughts, stories, and Camp experiences that captivated and inspired. The evening includes dinner, drinks, silent auction, and a bonfire. This annual event is an opportunity to reunite with former campers, parents of current campers, and celebrate the rich history of Camp Marymount while raising funds for program operations and the preservation of our beloved camp.
