VOLUNTEER FOR MIM
Marymount in March is among the foremost social events in Nashville. This country chic event draws the attention of corporate and philanthropic leaders across Middle Tennessee.
Guests are invited to cocktails in the Camp’s historic foyer before enjoying a delicious dinner in the Dining Hall. As the Camp’s largest fundraiser, Marymount in March raises thousands of dollars each year to benefit the Camp’s general operating fund and support summer camp programming.
This year we have moved our country chic gala to, Marymount in March! Which will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Camp Marymount This is a well-attended event, and includes cocktails, dinner, and a wonderful silent auction with amazing items from camp alumni and business supporters. The success of this event is credited largely to sponsors, donors, and attendees like you, who lend their names and financial support to this event.
The money we raise each year goes toward off-setting the costs of operating Camp Marymount, funds summer camp programming, and of course, is tax deductible. Your donation makes it possible for us to scale up and provide all campers with nutritious meals, stellar activities, and memories for a lifetime. And most importantly, your commitment gives Camp Marymount the ability to plan.
At our May 2022 event, 125+ people in attendance helped us raise $32,000+ in support of summer camp 2022.
We offer sponsorship opportunities at a variety of levels ranging from $5,000 – $800. We hope you will consider sponsoring this exciting event – we look forward to seeing you at Marymount in March.
2023 Honoree: Chris Corby

We are excited to announce this year’s Marymount in March Honoree Chris Corby, former Camp Marymount Director .
Chris Corby started his Camp Marymount journey in the summer of 1976 as a 14 year old kitchen boy for the boy’s session. Besides memorable off-season projects and excursions during his high school years, he worked in various positions in the ensuing summers until 1985 when he and his wife, Mary, moved to Marymount to begin the transition to be the first lay director for camp. Their first two children, Ellen and Francis, were born in those years before Chris transitioned into building maintenance work at the new Father Ryan campus in 1991. A few years later, the Corbys moved back to the priest cabin; this time with their youngest, Patrick, in tow. During these few years, Chris provided business management services at camp under the direction of Tommy Hagey, while the Corby children ran amok (in closed-toe shoes) and were the envy of their peers.
Please join Camp Marymount, friends and patrons for Marymount in March. This year’s dinner is honoring our beloved Chris Corby, and his dedication to Camp Marymount.
